I would say not and add it in later.
EDIT: Updated Pika a bit. I kept the legs, and made his body skinnier. I also made his alternate costumes.

Well I have done some work on Charizard. But I overestimated it. I didn't realize how difficult he would be to sprite, especially the wings. I'm not a good enough spriter to tackle something like that. But I can post what I have if anyone wants to continue.

I'd be willing to take a swing at it, cant guarantee any major progress but yeah.
Also, Pikachu is lookign pretty good.

The one with the Cap could be a little more Orange as it's the shiny one.

Don't have time to dedicate to sheeting anything in the next couple of days so I'm holding off on that for now, but here's what I've started with. I could probably use some help with the alt colours because yeah, I can't exactly see them that well. >.<"

looks a tad bit too small compared to the other characters imo
, I mean, you wouldnt even be able to fit kirby between those leaves.Edit: just saw that you thought it would be small and well, then yeah. Its too small. Also, the color choice isnt really the best from what I can see.
Edit #2: Also, great job on the other characters, dont see anything wrong with the newest Pikachu, I like what you did to Charizard, Arth (Although, I think it would look a wee ´bit better if the flame on the tail was like a pixel bigger or so, but that's just me) and nice work on Toon Link aswell ^^
