RE: Doodles and Finished Pieces. - Drinks - 02-13-2011 I don't use flash for animation, I can't stand the flash brush either. I use photoshop just cause I'm used to it. RE: Doodles and Finished Pieces. - LeleleleMAXIMUM - 02-14-2011 is it a photoshop>imageready workflow? i don't know any other way to animate in ps, sorry RE: Doodles and Finished Pieces. - Chutzpar - 02-14-2011 I think in the newer versions of Photoshop you can animate without Imageready. Not sure Imageready even exists for newer versions, come to think of it! I don't know for certain though, I rarely use Photoshop these days. RE: Doodles and Finished Pieces. - Drinks - 02-14-2011 Windows>animation, don't know what version starts with it, but I have cs4 simple as that, the frame system is pretty wonky but it works. RE: Doodles and Finished Pieces. - Rakia - 02-15-2011 Yeah, in photoshop, under the drop down menu there's one called 'animation'. It's a little confusing at first (or i'm retarded) but it gets easier. Only ever used it for really simple stuff though, don't know how easy it would be for a long animation. RE: Doodles and Finished Pieces. - Drinks - 02-15-2011 I've seen people use it for some quality animations, but I can't help but wonder why they wouldn't use flash for something like that. Silly little gifs, fine, but legitimate animation I'd use flash every time. RE: Doodles and Finished Pieces. - LeleleleMAXIMUM - 02-16-2011 i have cs2, and there it is! (i kinda jumped irl) i'm going to try this asap EDIT: http://img137.imageshack.us/i/hotdamn.gif/ hot DAMN i have a new animation program *deletes flash* also imageshack sucks now for needing sign in to get direct link RE: Doodles and Finished Pieces. - Rakia - 02-16-2011 You can still get the link, all you have to do is copy and open the regular link (first option), then click the image to make it full size, right click, open image in new tab, or window, whatever. Yeah it's more of a hassle, but it does work. RE: Doodles and Finished Pieces. - LeleleleMAXIMUM - 02-16-2011 thanks it's like they don't want people to use it or something RE: Doodles and Finished Pieces. - Drinks - 02-16-2011 (02-16-2011, 05:19 AM)Murderbeard Wrote: also imageshack sucks now for needing sign in to get direct link It's a lot more annoying when you actually have an account, it just logs you out every time you close the tab. Even with remembered password. RE: Doodles and Finished Pieces. - Chutzpar - 02-16-2011 stuff from lifedrawing today aw yiss, soft pastels. Scanner didn't do these any favours but I fixed up the contrast as well as I could in Photoshop. They've got some issues but I'm pretty proud of them C: RE: Doodles and Finished Pieces. - LeleleleMAXIMUM - 02-17-2011 i'm scaref of pastels i have a set of 25 i haven't touched yet RE: Doodles and Finished Pieces. - Chutzpar - 02-17-2011 I enjoy them a lot! I tend to be really really anal when I work in pencil, and pastels aren't a medium that really lend themselves to precision, so I'm finding them really liberating c: RE: Doodles and Finished Pieces. - LeleleleMAXIMUM - 02-17-2011 i just noticed this, but the papers are colored, aren't they? nice use of negative space! i don't know how to explain, but there are some parts where you treated it like pencil, maybe it's unavoidable when you come from a predominantly drawing background. RE: Doodles and Finished Pieces. - Chutzpar - 02-17-2011 Oh definitely. I couldn't quite escape my tendency to overwork things! The hand on the second one is especially heinous. I'll just chalk it up to experience. |
