RE: Games That Need Rippin' - Ton - 07-13-2008 Well, RTB and I are working on the DKC Kongs. You're welcome to anything else. RE: Games That Need Rippin' - ~BRICKLIN~ - 07-13-2008 Alright thanks. I was kind of reluctant to do DKC anyways. RE: Games That Need Rippin' - Ton - 07-14-2008 We actually have quite a few sheets in-progress including enemies and items. RE: Games That Need Rippin' - Cshad - 07-14-2008 The earthbound zero list needs to be fixed, the main characters need to be re ripped as they are all missing death poses for when they follow Ninten around fainted, the main characters also have wrong colors for the current rips on the site. Some enemies have two poses for death, losing pieces, and I think the enemies also have the wrong colors, so they need to be re-ripped as well. The npc's are also missing a load of people :X RE: Games That Need Rippin' - lone wolf-rayet star - 07-14-2008 Lavos, badasses I dunno if you want the all the special effects. I'll get them if you do. RE: Games That Need Rippin' - Dazz - 07-14-2008 Great job! Love it. If you could rip the effects, it'd be much appreciated, but of course it's not exactly a requirement at the moment RE: Games That Need Rippin' - Ton - 07-14-2008 That was quick. Excellent job! RE: Games That Need Rippin' - balladofwindfishes - 07-14-2008 the Fire Emblem section is a mess rip wise. On the GBA section alone there are 3 Roy rips that could be connected and they're probably missing poses even with the 3. Considering enemies and playable characters often use the same sprites just with pallette swaps, a lot of the sheets are just duplicates that can easily just be condensed into a "character" section. For all I know every pose could be ripped for most of the characters, but the sheets are everywhere so it's hard to tell. This might be something to address. RE: Games That Need Rippin' - Badbatman3 - 07-14-2008 I guess I can get back to work on castlevania since I have been exposed to the horrifying truth. I can't do anything about the unused frankenstein monster sprites from castlevania 2 though, as I know nothing about rom hacking. Same for Richter in Sotn, because I'd rather not rip him without his unused sprites intact. RE: Games That Need Rippin' - Deathbringer - 07-14-2008 There's a simple solution for Frankie. Since his sprites only appears with Woman Vampire (which it's technically called in Japan, although only in this game), and she only appears in the Mansions, you can limit possible palettes to 5 areas. When the mansions are loaded into the PPU, there are two possible ones, Death or Carmilla. So her tileset would appear in at least 1 or 2 mansions out of 5 (which would otherwise be Death's set), so use an emulator like FCEU (one with debugging available, for the PPU Viewer), and check which mansions Carmilla's set appears in and use those palettes. RE: Games That Need Rippin' - Afr0Blu3 - 07-14-2008 I started on the Angel Island mini boss. I still need to get the missiles actually firing, the flame attack, and damage and destruction poses. Shouldn't take too long though =D Here's what I got so far. RE: Games That Need Rippin' - Ton - 07-14-2008 Looking good! Someone needs to re-rip the characters there, especially Roy. :x RE: Games That Need Rippin' - Ton - 07-14-2008 Yeah, I know nothing of Fire Emblem, so I can't do much for the section. |
