RE: Donkey Kong Country Returns - Rökkan - 11-29-2010 Donkey Kong Country: Nope, still gonna be here a while longer guys. Well done Retro. Tough as nails too. I would've liked Funky to return and Diddy available in 1p mode, but hey, at least they made Cranky's name actually relevant again. Plus, they got it right that he's the original DK: talk to him in World 7. I'd love to see the Kremlings return, but I must give Retro a hand, the Tikis were great baddies in their own right. Still... RIP Giant Head (11-28-2010, 01:15 AM)KingTomNidocott Wrote: The sequel should be called "Donkey Kong Country is Still Here" or "Donkey Kong Country Returned". Donkey Kong Country Forever: featuring an acid-burnt Swanky Kong alongside K. Rool in a skintight leotard. RE: Donkey Kong Country Returns - Gold - 12-02-2010 I know they look nothing alike or anything but the Tikis reminded me of Inka Dinka Doo. RE: Donkey Kong Country Returns - x0_000 - 12-05-2010 I saw the minecart levels. I loved some of the new ideas they brought in (like the eggshell and the circular rail!). Then I saw the hand level. The last barrel sequence of that level is definitely my favorite moment. RE: Donkey Kong Country Returns - JackMan - 12-05-2010 I miss the giant head :C I hope when they make the sequel (Because they have to) they'll have Crocodile Isle in the same design as the original DKC2. But in 3D. You get the point. Otherwise, it'll be stop and go station for me. But in 3D. Not likely to happen, considering at the end of DKC2. Hence the new, artificial one in DK64. RE: Donkey Kong Country Returns - JackMan - 12-06-2010 Yeah, but I'm sure everyone can agree the one in DKC2 is far awesome-r than the one in DK64. Plus, why are we keeping track with continuity error? Yeah, but I'm sure everyone can agree the one in DKC2 is far awesome-r than the one in DK64. Plus, why are we keeping track with continuity error? I know I'm nit-picking, and if they can make a cooler, more sinister looking Crocodile Isle for the sequel, then they can be my guest. RE: Donkey Kong Country Returns - Sol - 12-06-2010 Donkey Kong Country Returns Returns Also I haven't had a chance to play this yet, maybe I'll rent it or something. Looks good though. RE: Donkey Kong Country Returns - Koopaul - 12-06-2010 Psh! Buy it man! You won't regret it. RE: Donkey Kong Country Returns - KingOfHeart - 12-12-2010 This game is the Toughest and easiest Donkey Kong game yet. Easiest because if you die to much you get a Super Guide, you can buy as much lives as needed, and there's a parrot to help you find all the puzzle pieces if you get stumped. Toughest if you want to beat it on your own, and get the max percentage, including those time runs! RE: Donkey Kong Country Returns - JackMan - 12-12-2010 Wouldn't the combination of tough and easy make it normal RE: Donkey Kong Country Returns - Koopaul - 12-13-2010 No he means tough in some parts easy in others. |
