RE: Name Any animal that Pokemon never did. - TomGuycott - 07-30-2012 Slaking is the closest thing to a gorilla. It's more of a giant sloth with gorilla characteristics though. RE: Name Any animal that Pokemon never did. - Garamonde - 07-30-2012 I thought Darmanitan pretty much filled the gorilla spot for the most part despite being an orangutan (which is a species of gorilla anyway). RE: Name Any animal that Pokemon never did. - Hoeloe - 07-30-2012 They never did an Okapi as far as I know. Or a Pangolin. RE: Name Any animal that Pokemon never did. - Kami - 07-30-2012 They haven't done a flying sandfish either. Orangutans are apes, not gorillas o-O; RE: Name Any animal that Pokemon never did. - Zac - 07-30-2012 (07-30-2012, 11:43 AM)Hoeloe Wrote: They never did an Okapi as far as I know. Oh, so apes and gorillas are not the same. Nevermind then. RE: Name Any animal that Pokemon never did. - Tellis - 07-30-2012 What, no. Orangutans are apes, and gorillas are apes, but orangutans are not gorillas. RE: Name Any animal that Pokemon never did. - Garamonde - 07-30-2012 A Pokémon based around gold. (Sorry) RE: Name Any animal that Pokemon never did. - TomGuycott - 07-30-2012 SOLID gold. Wait, Cofagrigus is kind of gold, isn't he? Hmm... Let's see, my next suggestion is... difficult to make, there's not a lot left, is there? How about a Chimera? Two animals that don't have a whole lot to do with each other combined into one, and give it two unique types. RE: Name Any animal that Pokemon never did. - puggsoy - 07-30-2012 A chimera isn't an animal it's a mythical creature so it doesn't count. Did they ever make a vulture Pokemon though? RE: Name Any animal that Pokemon never did. - Tellis - 07-30-2012 Yeah, Vullaby and Mandibuzz, from Gen V. And honestly, the idea (or at least the spirit) behind the chimera is present throughout a ton of Pokemon, with mishmashed parts of tons of different species and whatnot. As the topic change suggests. It bugged me since the topics no longer about just animals. |
