Not really. If you think there was nearly as much emo and drama from them in their respective games as there is in Kingdom Hearts, I suggest you go give them another play through. Sure, they didn't always have the best attitudes, but Auron and Cloud both generally seemed to enjoy their lives and when shit came their way, they dealt with it. Sephiroth was a clever researcher and NEVER had any drama associated with him. He enjoyed slaughtering people and trying to destroy the world.
In KH/2, but especially KH2, they are simply all the same character.. Zomg life sucks so hard because we can't get what we want and the heartless are going to destroy us.. But hey, we're pretty and tweeny girls love us, so we're here with the attitudes that appeal to them!
Their personalities in the kingdom hearts games were nowhere NEAR accurate. Sorry. Fact of life.

The KH2 menu pic have sora licking an *ahem* ice cream lollipop(or whatever that´s called.).
B´that´s fun. Also, i like better KH: Chain of memories than all others. it´s 2D wee!
The battles are cooler. Now i wonder. Wouldn´t it be cool if Aya Brea appeared in KH birth by sleep?!

Also, Auron had more angst and drama than the rest of the FFX cast combined. Including Tidus and his daddy angst. (Jecht >>>> Tidus btw.)

But as far as the typical tweeny definition of drama goes, no. It's not dramatic. At all.

I have KH2, and know mostly what happens in KH but i reaaaaally wanna play it. I rented it like a year or two ago and now i cant find it
I'd rather buy it, whenever i rent games they screw up when i try to play them... cause theyre scratched and crap...
But I LOOVE KH in general. i've played CoM which was pretty good, i havent played the ps2 version tho... Is that any good?

The PS2 version is good. It's the same story but they added some new stuff, like enemy cards for the KH2 Organization members.
