I just made a quick attempt on Kiddy's head. I know it sucks right now, but if anyone wants to play around with it, go right ahead.

Kiddy's head looks too much like a rip off of the 3d model rather than something that was made with this sprite style in mind.

Maybe I looked at his head too carefully. But ya, the shading is what I have trouble with the most.

Well I don't think I'll be continuing this at the moment. Someone else can do whatever they want to this.
