Neat I wonder did you find anything interesting while ripping this game?

Like something lost?

Well, I found this song, Ninja Kong's model name is "Miyamoto", a model of a guy in a Helibird costume named "Birdman" and a monster named "NoMouth".

That monsters name is Nomouth? I freakin hated that thing, I'd always fall in lava while fighting him.

Updated- added race icons.

Saved!

This is actually pretty cool. How are you getting those renders? I've been needing a render of Cactus King and Ghastly King for my drawing references. Could you perhaps supply me with those since you're able to get them unlike me? Or perhaps supply me with the method to view these files properly. Either works for me.

And once again, this is actually really cool despite it being ripping from a 3-D game.

Great! Does this mean we finally have names for the enemies?

At least the Japanese names the programmers gave their models.

Also, I noticed Super Mario Galaxy uses the same exact file structure and has many of Jungle Beat's models in it.

Oh yeah? That's exciting.

Oh! Thank you very much! That's very helpful. Out of curiosity, how exactly are you doing this. MYself being the nosy and inquisitive sort I like to find out about new methods of extraction, and rendering.

No problem.

Once you have all the files, you load a SZS file into Yay0Dec to convert it by opening up the command bar and typing in "Yay0dec File.szs FileOutput.rarc".
Then drag your FileOutput.rarc (or whatever you named it) into RarcDump. It will automatically dump all the files.
Inside those files will be a BMD model. Open that with BMDView.
From there you can look at the model, extract textures, and play it's animations.

If you want the models and have 3ds Max use this script:
http://rapidshare.com/files/119222347/MaxBMD_Beta_03.zip.html
It imports the model rigged and textured.

Good job on these rips by the way Girrtacos.
