RE: Naruto Shippuden: Smackdown *Updated 1/6/10* - Kosheh - 04-06-2010 Oh man, no one paid attention to this topic just because it's a naruto game....and man, Naruto makes the best premise for fighting games... I'll download this and check it out but chances are you're not gonna see this post oh well EDIT: now i kinda see why no one posted :I RE: Naruto Shippuden: Smackdown *Updated 1/6/10* - GoldStud - 04-06-2010 Hey, there are some good things about this. Maybe just try and perfect your physics and camera before you go all crazy on the features and AI and character count. Also, I have programmed a Smash-style camera that worked really well. Here's the approach that works: you get the X and Y coordinates of all the players. You find the average X of all the X's- e.g (P1.x + P2.x + P3.x + P4.x)/4, and same with the Y coordinates. The average X and average Y is the point at which you center your camera. From there, if any player is outside of the camera, you zoom out. If your players are all far from the border, you zoom in. It will look much smoother done this way, I promise. What language are you using? GML? RE: Naruto Shippuden: Smackdown *Updated 1/6/10* - Alpha Six - 04-06-2010 oh kosheh why did you bump this?
