What kind of music gives you rhythm for playing games (or any game for that matter)? - JamesMorrow07 - 06-28-2008 Man, when I play Megaman Zero 3 or 4, I jam to Guns N' Roses, Rage Against The Machine, and Aerosmith to get my rhythm going--epsecially whenever I can complete each level depending on the times of the songs. I like the fast-paced, run-n'-gun, slash-n'-dash gaming that MMZ offers, and the music seems to come into harmony with that. Here are some of the specific songs for my game play: Aerosmith - Draw The Line Aerosmith - Back In The Saddle Guns N' Roses - It's So Easy Guns N' Roses - Nightrain Guns N' Roses - Welcome To The Jungle Guns N' Roses - Out Ta Get Me Guns N' Roses - Anything Goes Rage Against The Machine - Bulls on Parade Rage Against The Machine - Revolver Rage Against The Machine - Vietnow Rage Against The Machine - Snakecharmer Rage Against The Machine - Wind Below Rage Against The Machine - Roll Right Rage Against The Machine - People of the Sun Rage Against The Machine - Down Rodeo Rage Against The Machine - Without A Face The Offspring - Hammerhead RE: What kind of music gives you rhythm for playing games (or any game for that matter)? - GrooveMan.exe - 06-28-2008 OH THE GENERIC~ When playing games, I'l actually listen to the game music; with the exception of MMOs and other PC games, where I'll usually have music going to avoid haring the same track loop too many times. It's mostly VG music, as they're actually designed for setting a mood and atmosphere. I ended up making a pretty nice 48-track playlist for summer gaming. I'm quite proud of it, actually. ^^ RE: What kind of music gives you rhythm for playing games (or any game for that matter)? - Sho_"Rocker"_Daisuke - 06-28-2008 I don't really listen to anything specific, I pretty much just listen to whatever's playing on my mp3 at the moment but I do find that if I'm playing a game while listening to music, my performance inthe game is a bit enhanced compared to me listening to the in game music RE: What kind of music gives you rhythm for playing games (or any game for that matter)? - Phantom Killah - 06-28-2008 I listen to the ingame music. And if the music is really annoying or hiccups whenever it loops or just loops too much I turn the volume off. Not really a music person. RE: What kind of music gives you rhythm for playing games (or any game for that matter)? - A Hacked Soul - 06-28-2008 Head Strong and Sugar were going down swinging= Halo3 and COD4 Yep thats all I listen to for games. RE: What kind of music gives you rhythm for playing games (or any game for that matter)? - you can call me 7ILBY - 06-30-2008 I only listen to music that isn't that of the games whilst playing Quake II, in that case it's generally Aborted, Lamb of God and playlist of the OST (minus boring tracks) - from a lovely band called Sonic Mayhem RE: What kind of music gives you rhythm for playing games (or any game for that matter)? - JamesMorrow07 - 06-30-2008 you can call me 7ILBY Wrote:I only listen to music that isn't that of the games whilst playing Quake II, in that case it's generally Aborted, Lamb of God and playlist of the OST (minus boring tracks) - from a lovely band called Sonic Mayhem Hells yeah! I'm not gonna fuck that shit up~ Though once I got bored and played Castlevania while listening to Nightwish and I'm sure I've gotten bored and done similar with different artists/games before but I don't recall. RE: What kind of music gives you rhythm for playing games (or any game for that matter)? - yoursavior - 07-01-2008 Mostly the in-game music, but if I'm doing something repetitive or boring, I'll put on some Blue Öyster Cult or Judas Priest. |
