Forum Project; Genesis Disney games - Ton - 01-14-2010 Not all of them. Just the ones based on movies. They're all pretty basic platformers, so I figured we could group them together. The ones I'm thinking of are; Playable Characters- Aladdin, Abu NPCs- Genie, Peddler, Camel Enemies- Exploding Skeletons, Bats, fish Shiva Statue's palette swap Bosses- Gazeem, Razoul,Shiva-Monkey, Iago, Jafar, etc Belle, Belle on Phillipe, Belle dancing with Beast, Belle dancing with Prince NPCs-Townspeople Gaston, LeFou, Bimbettes, Cogsworth, Lumiere Enemies Beast NPCs- Cogsworth, Lumiere, Mrs Potts, Chip, Babette, etc. Enemies Bosses (Bear, Boar, Giant Wolf, Gaston) Playable characters- Ariel, Triton Items (including Flounder and Sebastian) Enemies Bosses Playable characters- Pocahontas, Meeko NPCs- Flit, John Smith, Other Indians, other animals Playable Character- Mowgli Enemies Bosses (Kaa, Witch Doctor Monkey,King Louie, Shere Khan, etc.) NPCs- Bagheera, Baloo, Elephants Playable character- Mickey Enemies (after level 1) Playable Characters- Pinocchio (with and without donkey ears/tail), Jiminy Cricket NPCs- Blue Fairy, Marionettes, Lampwick, Geppetto, Honest John Enemies Bosses- Gideon, Coachman Playable characters- Simba (cub), Simba (adult), Pumbaa (bonus stage), Timon (Bonus Stage) NPCs- Timon, Ostrich, Rafiki, etc. Enemies/Bosses- Hyenas, Scar,Gorilla, etc. I ripped a lot of Aladdin, but if you think of anything you'd like to do for that game, feel free to. Jafar and the other bosses are still available. The Little Mermaid is the worst quality game of all of them but seems to have the fewest poses for the playable characters and enemies. Pocahantas will probably require a full playthrough because she gains more attacks as the game progresses. There also animals you can play as. Belle's Quest seems to be pretty standard and it has some decent animations for NPCs as well. Rage of the Beast is actually kind of tough. It has a bit more in terms of animations on the playable character, but fewer things for him to interact with (so far). RE: Forum Project; Genesis Disney games - Ton - 01-14-2010 Progress on the Beast. RE: Forum Project; Genesis Disney games - Ton - 01-14-2010 I think I finished Beast. Not sure though cause the game is fuck-hard. I can't even pass the first level. RE: Forum Project; Genesis Disney games - Ultimecia - 01-14-2010 This sucker got up, down, sides, diagonal up, diagonal down animations. Not to mention the turning around. Oh dear RE: Forum Project; Genesis Disney games - Ton - 01-14-2010 Aww, I'm sorry. Currently ripping LeFou and Gaston from Belle's Quest. RE: Forum Project; Genesis Disney games - Ultimecia - 01-14-2010 Oh, I'm sure you aren't ¬¬ RE: Forum Project; Genesis Disney games - Ton - 01-14-2010 His idle looks completely different from his moving sprites, haha. RE: Forum Project; Genesis Disney games - Ultimecia - 01-14-2010 That wasn't idle, it's his TURNING AROUND :o Now only his diagonal swimming, damage and dying stuff left. RE: Forum Project; Genesis Disney games - Ton - 01-14-2010 Awesome! Yeesh, that Belle game is tough too after the first level. RE: Forum Project; Genesis Disney games - Ultimecia - 01-14-2010 He got no wounded/dying sprites, he only flashes when hit and life is automatic re-spawn until you see Ursula saying something like "Fool! You can't beat me!" and "Continue?". Awful +_+ But the deed is done I remember having this Belle game for PC when I was a kid. It was a fun one, but very hard to me, I gave up soon. RE: Forum Project; Genesis Disney games - A.J. Nitro - 01-14-2010 Good idea for a project, Ton! And good job to the both of you of what you have so far. RE: Forum Project; Genesis Disney games - Ultimecia - 01-14-2010 I was just browsing around and I saw some games you missed: - Fantasia - Jungle Book, the (also avaliable for SNes, we have none) - Pinocchio (we got some stuff from the SNes version) - Toy Story (we also have many stuff from the SNes version) Not to mention the awesomeness of Gargoyles, but it is a TV show. Does it counts? RE: Forum Project; Genesis Disney games - Carpaccio - 01-14-2010 Once I get home I might try out Fantasia. But I refuse to rip Mickey cause I absolutely hate the little bastard. RE: Forum Project; Genesis Disney games - Ton - 01-14-2010 I didn't want to overload us, but if people want to do those ones I definitely won't stop them. I'd rip it if I could find a rom for the SNES version |
