Not bad for your first custom (which i'm assuming it is). However if you animate these they are a bit choppy, make more frames/make the animations smoother.

RE: Custom Sprites - Digi300 - 01-17-2010

it sorta is. I sorta used the Paper Mario Swooper as a refrence, so i'll look at it a bit more, as well as the other swooper sprites.

Ya misspelled idle. The nose is pretty jagged, too.

RE: Custom Sprites - Chris2Balls [:B] - 01-17-2010

I'm not so pleased of the shape of the ears, and of the shading. Maybe you could stick in an intermediate shade? The eyes seem a strange shape and I interpreted the nose as a beak at first, which I think is due to the nose's shape: I would get rid of its outline actually. Anyway, I'm looking forward to progress!

RE: Custom Sprites - Digi300 - 01-17-2010

Which eyes do you mean? closed, angry, or opened? The shading is something i'm sorta used to, but i can try a diffrent type and the nose and ears are going to get fixed soon.

Sorry for the double post, but i've fixed up the way Swooper looks like:

Wings should be wider and the ears should be touching.
