That's right, for all of you that played the original SOCOM games (aka NOT SOCOM: Confrontation), the original developer, Zipper Studios, is now in the process of developing a true sequel to the series.
Finally, we have a new SOCOM game not being made by fucking Slant-6, and it's coming to a console.
Anybody else excited? I know I am. I love the SOCOM series, and I definitely don't think SOCOM: Confrontation should be the way to end the series.
