midi inputz - 17 kids - 03-09-2010 what is a good program for making chips that isn't a tracker aka not: milkytracker modplug famitracker fruityloops whatev etc i am dying because those are too hard!!!!! and stupid looking!!!! and inconvenient!!! to use so honestly if there is something else out there that supports midi in and isn't a pain in the ass to use then that would be wonderful. hollah famitracker is easy enough however it keeps scrollin or whatever when i enable midi input, and nobody else seems to have this issue so i'm more or less like "fuck it i am too dumb for trackers" RE: midi inputz - Vipershark - 03-09-2010 a piano that connects to your computer just use fruity loops it isn't that hard RE: midi inputz - Gors - 03-10-2010 (03-09-2010, 10:27 PM)sleepy Wrote: famitracker is easy enough however it keeps scrollin or whatever when i enable midi input, and nobody else seems to have this issue so i'm more or less like "fuck it i am too dumb for trackers" Midi input doesn't work properly (or I am dumb enough to not use it correctly) People can do stuff with it because they compose the songs from the ground RE: midi inputz - viniciuskps - 03-10-2010 I also don't get along very well with trackers, so I use a program called Melody Assistant to write midi and stuff (it works with midi in/out easily enough, I think). But this program may not be user-friendly because it uses a staff interface when writing (yeah, some music reading knowledge needed here) and is shareware, oh well... Also, I second using a keyboard that supports MIDI-OUT and a midi cable to record the stuff you play on the keyboard directly to midi via whatever audio workstation you have there. You just have to know how to compose sheet music though RE: midi inputz - 17 kids - 03-14-2010 (03-13-2010, 05:28 PM)Vipershark Wrote:(03-10-2010, 04:37 PM)sleepy Wrote:(03-09-2010, 10:59 PM)Vipershark Wrote: a piano that connects to your computer Quote:aka not: hi please read my post it isnt that hard ^___^ RE: midi inputz - Vipershark - 03-14-2010 (03-14-2010, 01:25 AM)sleepy Wrote:(03-13-2010, 05:28 PM)Vipershark Wrote:(03-10-2010, 04:37 PM)sleepy Wrote:(03-09-2010, 10:59 PM)Vipershark Wrote: a piano that connects to your computer (03-09-2010, 10:59 PM)Vipershark Wrote: hi just use fruity loops it isn't that hard ^___^ seriously, fruity loops isn't hard to use at all once you figure out what you're doing just give it some time; it's one of the easiest music programs to use RE: midi inputz - [robo9] - 03-14-2010 Nw2 is basically placing notes, changing note length and tempo, accents and etc. You have to know how to read sheet music though, or just place the notes and do it by ear. Im just not sure if it has a midi exporter, buti know sure as he'll the demo doesn't. Premium idk RE: midi inputz - Maxpphire - 03-16-2010 Vipershark, shut the fuck up. Just because something is easy for you to use doesn't mean that it is easy for everyone to use. RE: midi inputz - Vipershark - 03-16-2010 looks like somebody is mad not my fault that basically the only worthwhile music maker programs are sequencers and trackers and FL just happens to be one of the best sequencers, hurf durf this is why I said give it some time obviously nobody is good at the beginning and it takes a little time to learn things also to sleepy if this is for making chiptunes, then famitracker is the way to go, but I don't know about midi input since it has the keyboard-as-piano function, it's literally playing your computer like a piano you won't need midi input with that even better, if you're making music in midi, just use GSXCC. It'll translate your music to NES chiptunes, but "real" chiptune makers will hate you for it, hahaha RE: midi inputz - Maxpphire - 03-17-2010 Well he doesn't want to use fruity loops so stop shoving it down his throat. If you continue to do so then I'm sure it can fall under spamming in the warn section. Also I am not so much angry as you are being annoying. RE: midi inputz - 17 kids - 03-18-2010 im just gonna make a midi thing for lsdj eventually tryed fruity loops, hated it to death i love nd have mastered PX TONE and LSDJ but neither support midi input EDIT:::::::: wait never mind if i have a cart of lsdj i can make a midi thing but fuck that famitracker is just a pain in the rear to use so i will probably stick with pxtoners pps thanx kat ilu |
