Revisiting old work - Marth - 03-29-2010

Eh, decided to pixel again but I have such little time to do it so I'm doing something small. So I decided to redo this old sprite, and practice color limit like 1up said to. I managed to keep it at 8 this time I think, even that's to much, but hey it's a hell of alot less then 14 like my last sprite. Also I'm retarded and can't figure out how to shade the gloves, some one please help me there especially.

i think it would be way better if you worked first on a lower color coutn of the original desing and then moved to a new one. the point is that, if you can achieve the same results with less colors, then you're just done.

I see what your saying, and in truth I was orignally just going to reshade the first one, with less colors, but the more I looked at it the worse the line art looked to me. So I simply moved to a new lineart, with a tad different design. Do you not like the new design? Just out of curiousity, also guys any more comments? Their highly appreciated.
