PrefaceRequest Rules
Addendum:
While they can view this board, New members with under 20 Posts and/or less than 1 month since registration MAY NOT post requests.
If you have more than 20 posts AND have been here for for at least a month but still can't post a request, post somewhere else first and then please try again.
The purpose of this request forum is to look for someone who would make you a FAVOR and get what you can't do/haven't found. and of course keep said requests out of the rest of the boards.
this means:
1.Make a clear, simple request of what do you want.
If sprites for example, say in which style, from what game, from what character, etc. the more info, the better.
2.Wait for someone to make/provide what you're looking for.
Don't make useless bumps. if you need to, wait at least a week or two to do so.
3.If nothing happens then consider that nobody will do it, and you'll have to do it for yourself.
Unfortunately, if no one is interested or no one can do it, then there is nothing to do at this point. consider learning how to get/make these on your own.
4.In the case your request is completed or you desist making that request, its thread gets closed.
This is to keep the section tidy, so others can make requests too.
- If by any chance someone still wants to add something to it, send a pm to the one who made the thread.
- If you're the one who made the thread and you have something to add to the request and need it to be reopened for a good reason, send a PM to me.
Note:
- You're free to offer incentives like money in exchange to get your request complete(if you have the resources). other stuff like credit or yoshi coins might not appeal the majority of the people.
- Larger/more complex requests(several characters, complete tilesets) are more likely to not be fulfilled. you can still give it a shot, but remember you depend purely on people's good will to help.
- Questions regarding how to rip stuff can be answered(if they are not already answered) Ripping Questions thread. use the search function at the bottom of it.
- Mods are free to close your thread if shit hits the fan.
- Make sure you've searched other places for the things you want. Don't make a request thread if what you want is already available at our (and/or other's) sprite databases. Use the SEARCH system.
However,
IMPORTANT: IT'S NOT ANYBODY'S JOB TO FULFILL SAID REQUESTS. DO NOT 'DEMAND' STUFF, DO NOT WHINE IF YOU DONT GET WHAT YOU NEED, DON'T BE AN IDIOT.
Because acting like an idiot will gear people to get pissed at you, troll you, and/or kick you out of these boards.
