I need advice for ripping Metal Slug sprites. - I am Kevin lol - 07-02-2010 Hey there. I'm hoping to soon start ripping a bunch of full (or hopefully full) sheets from the original Metal Slug, and I need some help. What is the best Neo Geo or MAME emulator for ripping sprites? Specific features I'm looking for include things like advance frame, OAM/tile viewer, etc. I'm not at all experienced with Neo Geo emulation, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, I hope I'm not posting this in the wrong section. RE: I need advice for ripping Metal Slug sprites. - Random Talking Bush - 07-02-2010 For the Metal Slug games (as well as any other Neo-Geo game), I'd suggest using Kawaks. It's got a tile viewer, can toggle sprites, etc. Much more convenient than using MAME for those games. |
