I have been making sprite comics for a few years now and I want to know how to rip game sprites I have No idea what I need, where to find it, how to use it, if there are different kinds for GBA and DS, etc, etc, etc...
Can anyone help me?

First of all, welcome to tSR. Feel free to join and read the rules before continuing on. Second your thread is in an unappropriated place, I'm moving it.
There are two ways to rip. With tools (check the bottom of the page), or playing with an emulator + Animget. I myself rip using emulator + animget. You can check this tutorial by Belial for one alternative method.
