Inuyasha: A Feudal Fairy Tale - PsychoticMarik - 07-17-2010
Submitted these to the sprite database some time ago. Think its about time I post them here, and being my first time here I thought it fitting to quickly give to the community.
Naraku, Sesshomaru, Sango, Miroku, Demon Inuyasha, and Koga ripped from this PSX game.
I should mention that Demon Inuyasha and Koga were ripped about a year or so earlier than the others, and due to my inexperience their sheets arent as organized, so I do apologize for that. I hope these are acceptable.

Heh, well my main reason for ripping these characters was to use them for Mugen. Not only did the sprite database already have his sheet, but Mugen already had like 4 inuyashas, so I ripped some of the other characters

This is a nice chunk of sprites, but next time could you use a much softer color for the background. The current green may strain some user's eyes.

Suppose thats true. Back when I first made them I was told to use either bright pink, blue or green. Green was the only one of the 3 that didnt burn, so I went with it.
The color feels right to me, but I do see how it might bother some.

I think green is ok, it's better than these sheets with white or black background.

The method was tedious and took hours just to rip the sprites let alone clean the backgrounds and make the sheet, but it made sure every sprite was ripped so its worth it.
So it was very time consuming, but Im happy with how it all turned out.

You should be, those sprites are very beautiful. This Inuyasha game is one of the few I like (if not the one) and it was so well-animated I couldn't believe this same guys did Ramna and Kenshin's 3D fighting games.

I agree. The only other Inuyasha game I've found to be of any entertainment was feudal combat, and that game really wasn't all that good.

Cant say I'm familiar with those games, but judging by your comment I'll assume they weren't all that well done

Let's say... If I don't have anything else to play but these two games...I'd rather don't play. They were made by the time Tekken 3 was the greatest 3D fighting game of all and they thought it would be very easy to cash in.

What a waste. A shame the Kenshin game wasnt at least good. I rather enjoyed that anime.
