Duke Nukem Advance - Nacho - 08-14-2010 Hello! I'm currently interested in ripping the sprites from Duke Nukem Advance and while I can rip the weapons, hud, and menu items with relative ease I'm at a complete loss at how I would get to the enemies and items due to the 2.5D engine. Does anyone have knowledge on how this would be accomplished? Anyways, I'll start ripping what I can in the meantime. RE: Duke Nukem Advance - Gors - 08-14-2010 Check this topic for ripping questions. http://www.spriters-resource.com/community/showthread.php?tid=3780 Also I suggest you to have at least something before making a topic. RE: Duke Nukem Advance - Nacho - 08-15-2010 My bad and my apologies, I couldn't find any place that looked like it would fit this question at first glance. Anyways, here's my current progress... not much as I've just started... Uploaded with ImageShack.us So, this is everything I've done so far and its pretty much just menu stuff with some cut scenes thrown in since I got sick of pulling menu stuff for a bit. Anyways, there is still a ton of stuff to go through in the menus since the game comes in four languages. After Its all said and done I'll get it organized but for now I'm just throwing it all on one page. Still have no idea how to do the actual FPS part of the game... By the by this is my first attempt at sprite ripping so go me. Thanks. RE: Duke Nukem Advance - Ultimecia - 08-21-2010 I ripped the PC version of the game and I had to use a tool. Maybe you should try something like tile molester RE: Duke Nukem Advance - Nacho - 08-23-2010 (08-21-2010, 05:11 PM)Ultimecia Wrote: I ripped the PC version of the game and I had to use a tool. Maybe you should try something like tile molester The PC version is easy peazy compared to the GBA version. I've been using VisualBoys OAM viewer to get the weapons and menu stuff with relative ease. As for the enemies I tried using Tile Molester but I can't seem to see any enemy sprites in their... just some weapons. Granted I have little to no experience using Tile Molester. If anyone has a good guide to it I'd love a link. |
