Cave Story Meets Final Fantasy - Metreu - 09-10-2010 My first in this series is: The Black Mage From FF1! The Next one up... White Mage! (attachments removed) RE: Cave Story Meets Final Fantasy - Metreu - 09-13-2010 Here's WHITE MAGE! From FF1 RE: Cave Story Meets Final Fantasy - GrooveMan.exe - 09-13-2010 ...This is a long shot from being Cave Story style. Moved to Spriting and Pixel Art. RE: Cave Story Meets Final Fantasy - Iceman404 - 09-13-2010 I dunno Grooveman, the black mage is a little convincing to me atleast. RE: Cave Story Meets Final Fantasy - triptych - 09-13-2010 I really don't know how to word this properly they look really /flat/ which really only sounds weird because the cave story style is fairly flat itself, but it still manages to show depth. a lot of these don't do that as well as they could RE: Cave Story Meets Final Fantasy - TomGuycott - 09-13-2010 One thing that might help the flatness is more contrast. Maybe consider changing the color of the white mage's robes to something more... white. Maybe the staff color should change too to differentiate it from the Mage himself. RE: Cave Story Meets Final Fantasy - Cobalt Blue - 09-13-2010 Quick guide into Cave Story Spriting: >Editing Quote =/= Cave Story Spriting. RE: Cave Story Meets Final Fantasy - Metreu - 09-14-2010 :\ ...I see... It really doesn't look like cave story at all? ... (only wasted about 5 minutes on each so whatever...) ... Back to spriting Boktai at least. OH YEAH. Those haven't been posted yet. Why? they been up for months! Spriting in any remotely serious capacity will take more than 5 minutes for a finished product. Either you have to be willing to put the time in to make your work look good, or just flat out don't even bother. Since it sounds like you're not interested in working on this, thread locked. |
