A Link to the Past-style Phanto - TwilightJourneyman - 10-01-2010 Yeah, I know these didn't take all too long, but I looked through my 3-year-old unfinished projects and found some 16-bit Phanto (which were horrible) lying around and figured "Why not?" So from there I took out the old Gameboy color palette and took a few minutes of my time to create some A Link To The Past-style Phanto. If I were to submit this for one reason or another, I'd probably think about adding more things to it... Heck, I could make the entire game in the style if I had the time (which I do over the weekend). The first row of Phanto are "normal," the last row are the statues, and all those in between are damaged sprites: direct-o link~ So yeah, any constructive criticism is welcome entirely. RE: A Link to the Past-style Phanto - BynineB - 10-01-2010 Their shape is rather awkward looking, as are their eyes. Phanto are symetrical and round, maybe slightly oval; yours look like rounded squares. The eyes aren't symetrical either. RE: A Link to the Past-style Phanto - Proton - 10-01-2010 It's all wonky near the jaw. The mask is pretty much a dome rather than a head. It also has narrow eyes with curls at the end, tilted to look more sinister. The mouth was also pretty big. RE: A Link to the Past-style Phanto - BobbyLala - 10-02-2010 "A Link to the Past" was on the SNES not the gameboy colour These are more "Link's Awakening" or "Oracle of Ages/Seasons" style |
