TSRT JAM - SKELTON S. SKELETON - 10-03-2010 The TSR Art Jam is coordinated by Gillian and I It runs from October to January of 2010 and 2011 respectively. Themes are posted every week at Sunday in THIS POST. You can post your entries in this thread, or in creativity or wherever the piece of art in question belongs with the tag [TSRT JAM] Entires can be anything that is 'artistic media' Pixelart Hand Drawn Photoshop Painted etc etc. There's really no restrictions on content, there are no rankings, no winners and nobody is barred from entry. THIS WEEKS THEME: Superheroes. The highlight of the American comics market, Superheroes have existed since the 1930's in a form similar to what we know today. Your piece can be a single character artwork of a Superhero, a page layout, a mockup or really anything that contributes to the theme that Superheroes are awesome. You don't have to do an original character, and I actually look forward to seeing interesting (or classical) interpretations of popular Superheroes. RE: TSRT JAM - Chutzpar - 10-03-2010 Wait. Why can't this run indefinitely? x: OTHER THAN THAT, LETS ROCK. My suggestion for this theme: If you're gonna do an established character, don't just do straight-up fanart. Redesign a costume or mess with the character's background and make your drawing reflect that, for example. Also, in case anyone (Murderbeard) wanted to, pretty sure 3D can be covered here too, yup. RE: TSRT JAM - SKELTON S. SKELETON - 10-03-2010 That gives people the inclination that it's a one time thing, and maybe more of them will join! RE: TSRT JAM - tsr moderation staff - 10-03-2010 fuck yeah i am so in on this RE: TSRT JAM - Maxpphire - 10-03-2010 I may or may not inter. Stupid computer is stupid and well it doesn't reconize the printer and it won't open photoshop for me. RE: TSRT JAM - Chutzpar - 10-05-2010 With some weeks, I think I'm gonna post USEFUL LINKS for that week's theme I think maybe we're off to a patchy start so this might have to be longer than a week. Maybe we should have discussed this more before we started anything, who knows! Regardless, if you're stuck for a superpower idea for an original character: http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Superpower_Wiki Hit "Random Page" until you hit on something you like the sound of! Also: http://www.tencentticker.com/projectrooftop/ other people redesigning superheroes and other comic characters might help you dudes come up with some ideas c: RE: TSRT JAM - Rosencrantz - 10-05-2010 so I have not ever done anything serious with paper and pencil mostly because I have not ever had access to a scanner but now I finally have one and a tablet so I might actually do some of these since I need art practice in general ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ RE: TSRT JAM - SKELTON S. SKELETON - 10-10-2010 I'm curious what everyone has so far. Right now, all I've got is basically a draft for a batman piece. RE: TSRT JAM - LeleleleMAXIMUM - 11-20-2010 POOF |
