I remember a while ago, I found this thread that.. I think it was a project, but I'm not sure.
It had seriously BIG Sonic sprites, I think it was called HD Sonic, or something.
But they were bigger remakes of old Sonic sprites.
Does anyone know where they are?
I've been trying to find it for ages.
I go to the projects forum, but I only get Smash Bros and Modern Sonic.

I went to that yesterday!
I remember the sprites being bigger, like if you x2'd the sprites!
For instance, the item boxes looked like TVs compared to the normal ones.

The Sonic 2 HD project from Sonic Retro?
It's the only thing that I can think of that had large sprites of the characters and objects. As far as I know, the project hasn't finished or has been cancelled.

it will tell you to go to the sonic retro forums and click on "community projects". you should find it there as "Sonic 2 HD". hope this helps!
FYI I'm linking to this page because the project itself has its own section of the forum full of threads.
