Help with Evangelion Jo!! - enrique3 - 12-02-2010 Hi! I'm new ripping models! I hope that you may help me. In advance I thank you very much. I have problems to extract files GMO of the game Evangelion Jo, I can't extract them with the Gitmo. In order to to convert them later with the mesh2rdm or with Noesis. I have the ISO, and I suppose that models and textures are in the file "Encrypt.bin" but I can't extract the GMO. Must I have another version of this game? Am I doing something wrong? Thank you very much in advance! Best regards! RE: Help with Evangelion Jo!! - Shadowth117 - 12-02-2010 Well first, this belongs in the Model Discussion forum more than anything else so I'll move it there. Second, I can't remember exactly what I did to extract the .GMO files and I can't check since I'm not at home right now, but I believe I just had Gitmo search the whole ISO for them. If that doesn't work for you I can find out exactly what I did later. RE: Help with Evangelion Jo!! - enrique3 - 12-02-2010 Hi Shadowth117! Forgive me to place the theme here, I thought that it was correct. My problem is that I can't extract files .GMO, I tried with the complete ISO and also with the extracted files. You can see it in the images. I'm trying with another extractors .bin, but not yet I get to extract models and textures. I'll thank you if somebody can help me! Regards! RE: Help with Evangelion Jo!! - Shadowth117 - 12-02-2010 Yeah I just tried scanning my ISO and I definitely got hits so that's probably what I did. Your problem was that when you tried to scan the .ISO you never set the "Source file mask" to ".ISO" rather than ".bin". Also for future reference don't bother checking the UMD_Data.bin file. Every game has one and while I'm guessing its just some settings or something, its only a few bytes big and it so it will never contain anything interesting. Usually the big file archives will be a few hundred MB in PSP games although some of these are compressed preventing you from doing anything with them. RE: Help with Evangelion Jo!! - enrique3 - 12-04-2010 Thanks Shadowth117! I set .iso instead of .bin and I could extract 18 files GMO! Regrettably these files are not characters 3D of the game! Just they are useless files. I put two examples to you. I'm a little desperate, because not yet I can get the characters of the game. If you remember more tips, I'll thank you very much, really I want to obtain all the models. Thank you very much again for your kind help! Best wishes! RE: Help with Evangelion Jo!! - Shadowth117 - 12-04-2010 Sorry you couldn't extract them all. You may be able to find all of the models if you find an archive that you can extract from, but I wouldn't know which one. When I got my ISO it was for some reason corrupted or something because it was missing all of the usual boot files although it had the major files from the game. It doesn't even work when I load it onto my memory stick unfortunately, but somehow this made it ideal for ripping the models that way though only god knows why exactly. Anyway, here's the models I wasn't able to convert yet: http://www.mediafire.com/?ir27xycmcodozcj You'll find that anything that isn't there is on the site though admittedly there isn't too much uploaded at the moment. RE: Help with Evangelion Jo!! - enrique3 - 12-05-2010 Thanks again Shadowth117! I tried to load from my memory too, and just I could extract the 18 files GMO, that I obtained originally. Thank you very much for your generosity! I downloaded the files of the link that you gave me. I can see all the models, tomorrow I'll begin to convert them. Also I could see the files that are in the folder of inconvertible files with mesh2rdm! These are animations of the movements of bones of some models. Although I don't know if I can extract the bones of the models, what's important is to have them, later I'll make gradually the skeleton, in order to be able to give them movement. Thank you very much again, and we'll be in contact! Best wishes! RE: Help with Evangelion Jo!! - Shadowth117 - 12-06-2010 You should be able to extract the model with the skeleton if you use a format that supports the skeleton like .smd, .dae, .md5mesh, and a few others. It'd be silly to rebuild the bones by hand when you could just do that. RE: Help with Evangelion Jo!! - Clocker Over33 - 01-26-2014 Hey now be mesh2rdm not work for me because it guides you to the Evangelion Jo PSP Digimon Adventure UMD_DATA.BIN not go, pack up some pictures to follow himself to be a result of dae files to be okay to ask of a good friend of mine helphttp://www.vg-resource.com/images/smilies/angry.png. RE: Help with Evangelion Jo!! - Random Talking Bush - 01-26-2014 Alright, I think that's enough. Your last three posts have all been necrobumps, and almost all of your posts overall have been requests. You haven't been paying attention to your warn log, have you? These are all things you were warned for in the past. Four times in fact. Speaking of which, your warning level has just reached 100%, and you know what that means...? |
