How do you mean?
A lot of DS rips have darkened colors because the rippers just screenshotted from NO$GBA, which darkens everything by default.
I ripped these straight from the ROM using a custom tool I wrote. From playing through the game, I can confirm that the credits images are darker than the rest of the game.
I think the idea is that it's a collection of photos, that have faded with age.
