If you like - knockout709 - 01-09-2011 Hey guys. If you like my sheet Wheelie then tell me and i'll make more sprites! LINK: RE: If you like - Cobalt Blue - 01-09-2011 thats really a piece of shit that needs a lot more work. whenever you brake, your body's mass is pulled foward due the residual kinetic energy on it. on simple words and understanding how mass would work on that character, the head would be pulled foward as the wheel brakes. just like your torso is pulled foward after you try to stop running. unless it performs some sort of sliding like bikes do to compensate this(wich is clearly not the case on this). overall, this is quite a poor, if anything early sprite thats nothing but a bunch of shapes pasted together. if you really want to be considered somehow for anything i'd recomend working more on it. on its details, desing, colors, shading, etc. your choice. RE: If you like - LeleleleMAXIMUM - 01-09-2011 Well, they're not that good, to be honest. Ignoring the fact that they have no shading, they're too doodley, and the design doesn't seem too well thought-out. It's a circle plonked on top of a square. Also, the antenna on the second one umm is different. RE: If you like - Previous - 01-09-2011 You better not be making fun of me RE: If you like - Involuntary Twitch - 01-09-2011 Oh, wow, that's... well, that's not great. For starters it needs shading, a better design, and really a lot of other things. What do you want us to tell you, that it's fabulous and we want you to make more? Maybe take more than five minutes on it. Don't use the circle tool in your lineart, either. You can use it to plan stuff out, but geometrically generated circles tend to be jagged. Read some tutorials; there's a pinned topic full of 'em. RE: If you like - McMaxxis - 01-09-2011 Needs Lots of improement, such as AA and a better colour choice. And I've seen your previous threads. Are you really asking for help on these? Or are you posting these half-minute sprites just because? Because you never get back to these sprites and if so, no attempt at improving them. RE: If you like - Maxpphire - 01-09-2011 Also just to let you know, we aren't going to say "Oh hey I like your sprites :-)" and kiss your ass about them. We will just tell you how to improve them. Don't take it as personal insult, for we are only trying to help. Your sprites could use a lot of work but what I would say is what other people have already said so I'm not going to repete it. |
