How do I use Models? - sponge7325 - 05-03-2011 Well the title sort of explains the question... You see, I was exploring The Models Resource and thought, "Hey, I could make a cool YouTube Video with this stuff!", but I dont exactly know what to use to do this and how to use it, so I though I could ask here. I also saw a YouTube video where it looked like all the guy did was sorta drag the models around and said they were walking. Thats basically what I want to do. If you could point out a program that will let me do this and how I get the models on that program and make them do sorta what the other guy did, I would be EXTREMELY grateful. RE: How do I use Models? - Shadowth117 - 05-03-2011 Well see, there's a LOT of programs you can use 3D models with. Problem is, most of 'em ain't free and they usually have very steep learning curves. If you want a free one you can try out Blender, but its definitely not an easy program for beginners. RE: How do I use Models? - rmiller3one - 05-04-2011 i work with maya. i'm taking a class on it at a community college, and i think it would have been better to just follow online tutorials haha RE: How do I use Models? - Shadowth117 - 05-04-2011 (05-04-2011, 07:26 PM)rmiller3one Wrote: i work with maya. i'm taking a class on it at a community college, and i think it would have been better to just follow online tutorials haha You realize the Autodesk programs are all rather expensive and so are somewhat of a big investment for regular people to get right? RE: How do I use Models? - Kirby98 - 05-17-2011 I use Carrara, Blender, Anim8tor and 3D Game Maker for anything 3d. |
