Final Fantasy six styled ike - teh waffle - 06-04-2011 i'm new and would like critique on this sprite sheet apologies for the distorted size RE: Final Fantasy six styled ike - TomGuycott - 06-04-2011 Saving the files as a JPG kills the quality. Try and edit it now and you'll see exactly what I mean. Second, you only edited small amounts of stuff onto Cid from FFVI. Your added material clashes significantly with the elements of the original sprite, and if your JPG saving wasn't distorting it so much I'd say what I think about the shading, because I'm not sure if it's distorted or not. For starters, Ike's gear is not shaped like that, and he wears a cape, not a longcoat. RE: Final Fantasy six styled ike - TomGuycott - 06-04-2011 Geez, there goes my credibility in regards to FFVI knowledge, I MEANT Leo, but I was thinking of T.G. Cid from Tactics in regards to them both being awesome. Anyway, it's a bad recolor, the color choices are OKAY, I feel like they could be better but I don't know exactly how. Everything that you did add looks out of place, particularly the sword slash, and the spiky hair, in addition to looking kind of freaky, doesn't remind me of Ike at all. If anything Locke's hair style looks much closer to Ike's.
