Emulator question - Ryan914 - 06-27-2011 Is there a genesis Emulator out there that can disable HDMA Layer (Wavy background) I know SNES has a few: Snes9x can directly disable it and vSNES can disable those layers through ZSNES savestates: (Method I used to rip the Chrono Trigger Future Domes) I want to rip The Edge (Final dungeon) from Phantasy Star 4 and the entire map background is HDMA based, only the foreground (Tiles) are not. RE: Emulator question - Shadowth117 - 06-29-2011 I think its disabled in Regen by default for some reason, but even if the effect is still going you can use the VDP Debugger in the debug version of the program to view and dump the tiles as the they are stored in the RAM, correct palette and all. |
