Model Importing Difficulties - PrinnyKurt - 08-05-2011 I've just recently gotten into modeling and thought I'd take a look at how the pros do it so I picked up some Wii, Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn models. The problem I seem to be having is that no matter which modeling program is used to import the files provided, I end up with only the bare model itself without any textures applied. I tried to work around this by applying the textures manually and partially succeeded. Now I have a textured model but it's quite horrible looking, very grainy and nothing like the provided picture or in game model. I suspect there were some detailed shading options that would be impossible to manually set. I've tried with Blender, 3dsmax, and Metaseq, using both the obj and mqo file types without luck. If anyone could give me instructions on how to import models with all settings intact I would be very grateful, my primary modeling program is Blender but at this point I'll try any program that will work.
