ePSXe Emulator + 3D Ripper DX = FLAT - jb3777 - 10-04-2011 I am trying to get 3D models from Street Figher EX using the ePSXe emulator and 3D Ripper DX. I capture the frame and import the .obj file into Blender. The sad part is that the capture comes out entirely flat. I also tried the arcade version using the Zinc emulator. Same results, FLAT . I am at a complete loss. Hopefully one of the experts here can help me. If so, I will share the 3D models with the community. RE: ePSXe Emulator + 3D Ripper DX = FLAT - Friedslick6 - 10-04-2011 The resulting capture will always be flat, because ePSXe and all PSX consoles emulate the Z-buffer (which is depth). You could take two captures from the exact front and side of the model, and try combining the two together to make one model. Unfortunately this is near-impossible to pull off acurately. Refer to my other post here for alternative PSX model capturing methods.
