Random sprite time - Yo-Yo Boy - 10-26-2011 Got bored and began making sprites out of Gorsal's ref. Feedback would be appreciated. EDIT:I know the upper part isn't moving, it's a WIP. RE: Random sprite time - Alex IDV - 10-26-2011 Try making the contrast between shadows and... non-shadows (what is it called again?) higher. You can barely see the shading. RE: Random sprite time - Yo-Yo Boy - 10-26-2011 Something like this? RE: Random sprite time - Gors - 10-27-2011 yeah, it's better also lol thanks I don't think it'll animate properly tho RE: Random sprite time - Yo-Yo Boy - 10-27-2011 Yeah, it looks really weird when its animated so i'll have to fix that later. RE: Random sprite time - Yo-Yo Boy - 11-04-2011 Posted this a while back, didn't get much feedback, but i remember someone mentioning a staircase effect, i don't know what that means. Oh and by the way its an Anti-tank in Advance Wars: Dual Strike Style for a fangame i'm working on. RE: Random sprite time - Alex IDV - 11-04-2011 It means that the eye interprets the outline as the same shape as the red line. You want it to be more like the blue line. RE: Random sprite time - Yo-Yo Boy - 11-05-2011 It has the same effect in-game so isn't that a part of the style? |
