Absolute Beginner - kimohno - 01-12-2012 Hey! Sorry for a noob Post but i'm searching for Hours now in Tutorial Sites and so. Maybe this site is for advanced users or i am just stupid. Can you please show me a link or give a short instruction how i use this 3D Models and or Sprites? For example i opend up an object File of Waluigi and applied the PNG texture to it in Cinema 4D. Looks horrible and angular. What programms du you use these Objects? Cinema4D doesn't know half the Files. Is it possible to apply Bones and Skeleton to animated the Models or am i going in a wrong direction with this? Also i wanted to know how you use the Sprite Files probably in 2d Animation Programms ( as seen here for example http://www.screwattack.com/shows/originals/death-battle/death-battle-boba-fett-vs-samus-aran ) Not easy to key out the Files because of colored background. I dont know the technike. Please give me a hint Love the Work put into this! RE: Absolute Beginner - Orwell - 01-13-2012 Hi kimohno, most of the models in this site are in obj or dae format and all of them are supported by Cinema4d without great problems. Obj models are simply static mesh instead .dae model already have bones, etc. Anyway u can easly apply weights and bones on the obj meshes (if u obviously konw how to do it in your 3d application) then u can animate them. The "not rigged" models in this forum are mainly in t-pose so u can rigg them without problems. If u have problem with the mesh visulisation in Cinema4d is probably because u don't know this program enough. The wrong visualization of the mesh in cinema is probably due to a problem with the normals of the mesh. So...go in the right panel of cinema where there is the list of the model parts and delete only the normals That's all. |
