Guru-Guru (Windmill Guy) - OoT N64 - puggsoy - 02-03-2012 Hey, just wondering if anyone who enjoys ripping N64 sprites feels like doing this. Guru-Guru is that guy who's playing that music box in the windmill in the Ocarina Of Time. I'd like a model of him (textures too, but that's less necessary) so that I can make a cool animated GIF of him. I'm sure it'd be helpful to others at some point too, of course. And if Majora's Mask is easier or something, that'd be fine too. I'm not expecting any swift volunteers or results. Mighty Jetters mentioned to me that the N64 is one of the hardest consoles to rip from, so if nobody's up for this it's fine. I'd just like to throw in my request now that I can RE: Guru-Guru (Windmill Guy) - OoT N64 - Peardian - 02-07-2012 Here you go. I just happened to have his model around, so I figured I might as well upload it. It's not a perfect rip, or anything: he's not t-posed or anything, and doesn't have his angry face textures. What you see in the thumbnail is exactly what you get. You'll have to do a bit of tweaking to get the textures to work right, though, due to clamping. I hope this is what you're looking for, as it's the best I can do. RE: Guru-Guru (Windmill Guy) - OoT N64 - puggsoy - 02-08-2012 Wow, thanks! I don't want him angry anyway, just his base animation of smiling and spinning his music box. I'm not a pro at working with models, but hopefully I can get what I want out of him. By the way, if you (or anyone) could recommend some free software for viewing the model and its animations, that'd be awesome. That's all I want to do really, record his animations from an angle. |
