My Voxel Art... - Atomic_Noodles - 02-07-2012 For not in the know... Voxel Art is basically Pixel Art put into a 3D Plane... Moving on... First one is a Sea Drone, A naval unit that is armed with a short-range Electric Gun. Second one is a WIP, recreation of the Cut Content from Red Alert 2... the Soviet Hydrofoil (Which gets recycled to the Allied Hydrofoil in RA3) RE: My Voxel Art... - Sengir - 02-07-2012 This looks really good, though is there a way to turn on anti-aliasing in your 3D program? RE: My Voxel Art... - Rosencrantz - 02-08-2012 I know some of the departments here at my campus do a lot of Voxel work, but I don't really get to see the results of it all. That said, these are pretty cool! A little simple, but still pretty neat to see these things in action!! RE: My Voxel Art... - Atomic_Noodles - 02-08-2012 The Finished Product (If I'm going by Westwood's 3D rendered to Voxel Standards...) They're usually not that big when in-game. For example the Sea Drone is pretty small: The Hydrofoil will be about the same size as a Destroyer. Edit: Added an In-Game Shot of it. |
