Some person on youtube named elimanene is remaking Pokemon FireRed/LeafGreen.
Makes awesome remixes. Take this for instance.
He also has a demo out if you want to play it. It has much more to offer than just a remake. I believe you get to go to Johto! Check it out if ya can!

Looking at the demo, it's cool, but has a few problems.
1. If you're going to use the B/W engine, make the Pokemon animated. Come on.
2. Likewise, the effects can't be solid. It looks horrible (Check out the Pokemon coming out of the balls, for example).
3. That encounter in Viridian Forest with Team Rocket had way too many boss fights in a row for so early in the game.
4. If this is a remake of R/B, why are Pokemon from much later generations showing up so early?
And some things I liked/notes;
1. Leaf's incorporation is a good idea. She'd add a fun new layer to the game.
2. I like the Yellow inclusion, but if you're going to do that, Red has GOT to get a Pikachu early in the game, even if it's not his starter.
