Mario Kart 7 - MKGirlism - 05-06-2012 It's not really ripped, because there is currently no 3DS Game Ripper, or something like that. But since some of the Assets I've made have been edited (Example: Mini Maps have their Laps/Sections/Coins indicators edited out, etc.), I think I'm still save to call them "Rips". Here are the Title Screens: Feel free to use them in any project, as long as you give proper credit. Credit is the only request I have for using these. The Credit Border is just 60 Pixels at the bottom. Enjoy! ------------------------------------------------- I have read the Forum Rules, but nothing states about being allowed/disallowed to post links to another Site/Forums. It's because I also have 32 Mini Maps to share, but I'm to lazy to put them all here. RE: Mario Kart 7 - Davy Jones - 05-06-2012 How about putting the mini maps in a zip? You could do the same for the title screens or you put them on a single sheet. RE: Mario Kart 7 - MKGirlism - 05-06-2012 In the end, even embedding images is linking to another Site. But okay, Mini Maps: http://www.yamihoshi.nl/files/downs/MK7MiniMaps.zip RE: Mario Kart 7 - Dazz - 05-06-2012 So how did you rip them then? I understand you edited them, but how did you get the images in pixel-perfect quality in the first place? RE: Mario Kart 7 - MKGirlism - 05-06-2012 I'm using a 3DS Capture Board, which is a modified 3DS, with 1 USB port, and 2 HDMI ports. This Board is currently in development by a SpeedDemosArchive user, called "Loopy", and I'm one of the selected few to 'Beta Test' the early device. I thought, this might be a good time to 'rip' 2D scenes from 3DS Games. It, however, can do video, but it isn't all that great yet. This is how it looks like via HDMI: USB Capture with one Screen at the same time: USB Capture with both Screens at the same time: RE: Mario Kart 7 - MKGirlism - 05-07-2012 Sorry for the double post (nobody replied since), but I've got some Misc stuff to show: http://www.yamihoshi.nl/files/downs/MK7Misc.zip This ZIP file includes:
RE: Mario Kart 7 - senjen - 05-07-2012 So let me get this straight you have ripped 2D sprites from a 3DS game? I guess that means were getting a little bit closer to eventually be able to rip 3D models from 3DS games 0.0 RE: Mario Kart 7 - MKGirlism - 05-07-2012 I can't turn Screenshots into 3D Models, so no. RE: Mario Kart 7 - MKGirlism - 07-15-2012 So, 2 months later, and nothing has been posted yet. RE: Mario Kart 7 - Garamonde - 07-31-2012 Can you post a non-.JPG'd screenshot of the game in action, or better yet make a section icon? You can find out how here. It'd also be really helpful if you could make icons for your submissions too. RE: Mario Kart 7 - MKGirlism - 07-31-2012 Wait, I've never made any JPG Screenshots, only PNG's. As for the Icon, I can make it, but not now (I'm on my Tablet, at the moment). RE: Mario Kart 7 - Garamonde - 07-31-2012 I mean, the only screenshots I can find of the game online are all JPG'd, so I have to ask you to post a clean one. But that's okay, take your time. RE: Mario Kart 7 - MKGirlism - 07-31-2012 In that case, I'll send it when I have time. Probably in a few hours, if not, then tomorrow (Note: I live in the CEST Time Zone, so if you want to ask me for this evening, it already is evening). RE: Mario Kart 7 - MKGirlism - 08-01-2012 Okay, here it is: RE: Mario Kart 7 - Garamonde - 08-01-2012 Okay I got them. |
