Riccochet's Random Rips - riccochet - 06-04-2012 I ripped some of the stuff from Street Fighter X Tekken awhile back and posted it another forum, I didnt see it posted here yet. So... http://mugenguild.com/forumx/index.php?topic=139470.0 Anyway... Lifebar portraits Format: png http://www.sendspace.com/file/rzj6lu SFxT Lifebar Format: png http://www.sendspace.com/file/a7b3yl Sample: Other stuff including, interfaces, loading screens, menus, etc. Format: dds http://www.sendspace.com/file/og4s4x Credit would be nice if used. And also some other random rips RE: Riccochet's Random Rips - Garamonde - 06-04-2012 Is there any way to convert the .DDS stuff into .PNG? I don't think we can accept them in that format. RE: Riccochet's Random Rips - riccochet - 06-04-2012 yes, you can use xnview. i can do it if you want, will take some time since its alot of files. RE: Riccochet's Random Rips - Garamonde - 06-04-2012 Yeah, that'd be much better if you could do that. RE: Riccochet's Random Rips - riccochet - 06-04-2012 Will upload the converted PNGs later Junko from King of FIghters Kyo on the PS1. Ripped using a video and AnimGet, since its virtually impossible to extract sprite data from it, hence the lack of frames. RE: Riccochet's Random Rips - Davy Jones - 06-04-2012 Did you try PSX-VRAM? RE: Riccochet's Random Rips - riccochet - 06-05-2012 As promised, here are the PNGs http://www.sendspace.com/file/04n7ln (06-04-2012, 04:17 PM)Davy Jones Wrote: Did you try PSX-VRAM?I have, best you get is backgrounds. RE: Riccochet's Random Rips - Davy Jones - 06-05-2012 Usually there is at least one single frame in the VRAM. And even if this sprite has black in it, you can swap to a wrong palette without black and combine both screenshots by laying correct palette sprite on wrong palette sprite to get the outlines for the frame. And on the clean sheet, you can recolour the specified pieces back to black. But yeah, especially for fighters it's extremely tedious and I would rather rip from easier games (arcade, snes) than these ones (psx, saturn). RE: Riccochet's Random Rips - Magma MK-II - 06-05-2012 VRAM is not that good for fighting games. RE: Riccochet's Random Rips - Davy Jones - 06-05-2012 @MagmaDragoon: Yes, it's horrible. But as said, you can get everything with VRAM in perfect quality, but it takes a lot of time. And you have to snapshot the fighter's moveset with Animget first before you can replace the frames with the VRAM counterparts. Good luck with these ones Edit: If you have a physical copy of the game, you should always try PSicture. Sometimes it gives you every single texture/sprite from a game. RE: Riccochet's Random Rips - riccochet - 06-05-2012 Tried that as well, but since this game wasn't encoded in the same way the others were, you end up with only event images. Which I should probably post.. |
