Issue with extracting from a .CPK file (PSP ripping) - Kyougi Ryu - 06-07-2012 So today I decided to try ripping from Steins;Gate Hiyoku Renri no Darling, a PSP game. All of the game's resources seemed to be stored in two .CPK files, DATA0.CPK and DATA1.CPK. Running them through QuickBMS with the CPK script gave the error "not a @UTF table at 16". I googled around and found another program that was made for some Valkyria Chronicles game that was supposed to deal with it, cpk_unpack. The two DATA CPKs extracted fine with it and inside them are a bunch more CPK files. Trying to run them through QuickBMS gives the same error as before, and cpk_unpack now does nothing with them. Anyone know what I should do next? RE: Issue with extracting from a .CPK file (PSP ripping) - John2k4 - 06-08-2012 I believe I remember either RTB or Segtendo talking about CPK files over on Smashboards..Have you tried running them through [urlhttp://oasis.xentax.com/index.php?content=home]Noesis[/url] to see if they are in any kind of recognizable format? RE: Issue with extracting from a .CPK file (PSP ripping) - Kyougi Ryu - 06-08-2012 Noesis can't seem to extract anything from the files, but that seems to be because it was made with ripping models in mind (or at least that's what I grasp from the website), and the game I'm trying to rip from is a 2D game. RE: Issue with extracting from a .CPK file (PSP ripping) - Dazz - 06-08-2012 Noesis can also extract certain archive types. Have you tried running Gitmo on it? RE: Issue with extracting from a .CPK file (PSP ripping) - Kyougi Ryu - 06-08-2012 Ran all the CPKs through Gitmo and double checked them with Noesis again. Still nothing =/ RE: Issue with extracting from a .CPK file (PSP ripping) - John2k4 - 06-08-2012 Can you open one of the unpacked files in a hex editor, and see if the header says anything? I've been able to get a couple Wii games to open by noting a LZ77/LZMA header on their unknown files.. RE: Issue with extracting from a .CPK file (PSP ripping) - Kyougi Ryu - 06-10-2012 Sorry for the late reply - I opened up the CPKs in a hex editor like you suggested, and it looks like they all have the same header, which just seems to be for CPK. RE: Issue with extracting from a .CPK file (PSP ripping) - TGE - 06-16-2012 Maybe it's CRI? |
