Mario & Luigi Striker - Neo 5 - 07-31-2012 hello in this post makes sprites mario strikers but the sprites of Mario & Luigi, from first to last. I have the Mario here: makes more sprites soon. Greetings Neo 5 RE: Mario & Luigi Striker - Cobalt Blue - 08-02-2012 whoa look. ANOTHER edit of the most overedited sprite since megaman on the nes. RE: Mario & Luigi Striker - Previous - 08-03-2012 Wow, what an elaborate explanation as to why Neo 5 should not be doing edits. Not saying Metaru is wrong. However, let me explain the nature of the problem. A sprite edit is not going to help you learning how to sprite better in the long run. Especially if you do not grasp the concepts of the style you edit. For example, your sprite has some shading and readability issues I will not discuss further. Furthermore, probably noone here will be impressed by an edit unless it is so advanced you could just as well have made a custom sprite. You also have to keep in mind that the changes you made are so little there is hardly anything to comment on plus it is not interesting. Not to forget noone could really need them as anyone who would probably use them for an awful sprite comic of fan game could just as quickly edit them on their own. If you want to learn how to sprite, do some custom work and put it on this forum for comments and tips on how to improve. Go in small steps. When you make and post an edit, you'd need to grasp lineart, shading and whatnot immediately. By doing customs, you can go step by step and get criticism on every part. Besides custom work would not be bound to an existing "style" with its flaws and difficulties. You should get the general basics down befor even bothering with sprite "styles". In short: While there maybe is a slight probability that you can learn from such edits, noone will be willing to help you with them as it is on the bottom end of pixeling. Closing the shop. |
