Spyro from Spyro YOTD - Nero1024 - 09-03-2012 Here are some textures of Spyro from Spyro: Year of the Dragon. The textures were ripped with 3D Ripper DX on ePSXe and compiled together with Pain.NET. Feel free to let me know if there are any problems. Game Icon Spyro RE: Spyro from Spyro YOTD - Garamonde - 09-03-2012 I don't wanna sound like a drag, but if you could make your credit tag a bit smaller that'd be great. It just looks needlessly large by just a bit, that's all. The huge text should be fixed now. RE: Spyro from Spyro YOTD - Garamonde - 09-03-2012 Well, the box itself is still big. RE: Spyro from Spyro YOTD - Davy Jones - 09-06-2012 3-D Ripper DX... I've heard about that before: http://www.spriters-resource.com/community/showthread.php?tid=13653&pid=352377#pid352377 But it never worked for me, do I have to install another program like MS Framework? Here's what I typically do when ripping textures w/ ePSXe & 3D Ripper DX: -Start up 3D Ripper DX -Set up said program (I also set the output directories to individual folders per game) -Click Launch (ePSXe should launch) -Configure video plugin (I'm using "Pete's DX6 D3D Driver 1.76") -When the Emulator is running you should see "Ready to capture" in a box -Press whichever key you have bound to capture -When you feel you're done ripping, navigate to the folder where the textures were ripped to -The texture files are in .DDS (DirectX Texture) format. Pain.NET is able to open this format. -Open files, then crop what you want. Here are some examples of a ripped texture bank: -From Ape Escape (Primarily a 3D game): -From Gex (Primarily a 2D game): |
