Pokemon new sprites, is free - seiyouh - 10-13-2012 All these works are free RE: Pokemon new sprites, is free - Sevenstitch - 10-13-2012 Are all of these Custom, or are any of them edits? To be honest, I can't tell the difference, and If an exact match to the Pokemon Style is what you were after, I suppose thats a good thing. Either way, they are quite impressive. That being said, I like the Adventure time pieces, the End Credits slide especially. At first glance, I thought it was a screenshot. RE: Pokemon new sprites, is free - Cobalt Blue - 10-14-2012 people needs to stop dumping all their shit on a single thread and literally expecting us to drool all over it, without even giving some sort of info or intruduction of your work or reference. congratulations, you can draw exactly like someone else. but judging by that marceline over there, its basically the only feature you can do. RE: Pokemon new sprites, is free - Garamonde - 10-14-2012 Some of them are edits including this one: http://www.spriters-resource.com/ds/pkmndiamondpearl/sheet/6933 RE: Pokemon new sprites, is free - Mag - 10-17-2012 Looks like most are custom, and really good, like, good enough to have a fan game based off them. Just some minor issues with the proportions of the Pokemon, like with Pikachu with his body, and Ivysaur/Venusaur size. RE: Pokemon new sprites, is free - DioShiba - 10-18-2012 To be honest I actually thought some of these were stolen when I first saw these... However I can't really put my finger on where I have seen these before so I'm just going to say that these are just edits, that is all. RE: Pokemon new sprites, is free - Previous - 10-18-2012 If you have no proof, better not bring it up, okay? Also, "these are just edits"-posts don't really help either and are no real criticism. Elaborate on how doing custom sprites is more helpful or point out any actual flaws, but pure "this is bad"-posts should be avoided. RE: Pokemon new sprites, is free - Sevenstitch - 10-18-2012 I don't know, after watching the videos, It seems you have skill, but also have some sort of uncanny xerox ability, eyeball tracing official sprites as reference. As a result, you seem to have a good grasp of linework and color, even if It doesn't seem to extend past Pokemon, which I'm only assuming at this point as there isn't anything else of true note in that dump that isn't Pokemon. EDIT: Well there is the Adventure time stuff, but the Marciline piece has weird line art, It's like lumpy and unnatural. I already said I liked the bumble bee screen cap, but it could be exactly that, simply traced with skill. I'm uncertain about that though, so please don't take any of this as an insult.
