.VOL files - IceWolf762 - 02-01-2013
Hi all.
Recently I've been playing one of the Touhou games, "Touhou Maihana" (full name "Touhou: Maihana Ao Makyou ~ Uniting Barrage Action Music"). The game uses 3D models but has 2D cut-in sprites/images. I'd like to extract these but all the data files are in .VOL format.
Does anyone know how these files work and how to extract from them?

Here's some info on the file type. I myself haven't heard of the file type until now, but I hope this helps some.

I got Dragon Unpacker and although it managed to extract many files, it didn't get everything!
Got the music however so that's 1 part done!
Also got the textures, but I can't seem to find the 2D cut-in pictures! Well, back to the drawing board!
