Gorstuff - Gors - 04-09-2013 In order to give this section a surge of life, I decided to create another sprite thread for me. It's been ages since my last thread here, it seems.. Please give C+C, I've been kinda rusty at pixelart \o/ I know it's 2x shut up I'm at work and I can't resize atm RE: Gorstuff - Garamonde - 04-09-2013 the thing I noticed right away is the contrast on the dark brown needs to be higher. the right leg being turned like that while being that distance from the other leg actually looks a little uncomfortable imo too but otherwise I can't see anything wrong. RE: Gorstuff - Gors - 04-09-2013 Self-Criticism: * I have some trouble with legs, I am not happy with them in general, not because of placement or shit. It looks empty and bland. Maybe a different type of boots will do. ---** The boots look like painted skin. * Same as skirt. It doesn't have depth atm. I'm thinking on changing the design altogether. * I made mid-tones with less contrast on purpose. It allows for smoother antialiasing. Same with skin. Though not really ok with that * I am not sure about the outlining. Maybe shading the outline will do? Or the same color of outline for everything? RE: Gorstuff - Hoeloe - 04-09-2013 Resized because. The boots do look a little odd I think they could do with some boot tops and/or some soles. They seem to cling to her feet pretty oddly. RE: Gorstuff - Gors - 04-09-2013 thank you, hoeloe when im home i'll change her lower body and stuff now i gotta type out some text right now |
