Super Mario Kart - Iceman404 - 05-22-2013 Me and my group of people for our Sonic in Mario Kart fangame/mod have been looking high and low for good Super Mario Kart sounds. We've met misleading downloads to horrible quality recordings, and were wondering if anyone could just rip it straight from the rom for us. All we need are looping files of the basic engine sounds (standing still) for the four classes: Bowser/Donkey Kong Jr. Mario/Luigi Toad/Koopa Yoshi/Princess This would be a HUGE help for us if someone could just do this once and for all. It contains the Idle engine sounds for every class, plus pitch slides for acceleration and deacceleration, and a hit effect. This should probably be added to the sounds resource too so it isn't lost. Let's take advantage of this thread to finish ripping the remaining samples. Make a list of all samples you can think off, and I'll rip them accordingly. I probably could use SPCtool to rip the samples in vanilla form, but some of the effects are actually sequenced (such as car crash samples) and can't be ripped as such.
