Tamagotchi Wii FBC format - auxfox - 06-23-2013 http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/66564653/MG000.zip http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/66564653/MG001.zip These look like BRRES. This game FOR SURE uses .MDL0 models. My problem is I need to get them out of these .FBC files. Does anybody know if any other games use a format similar to this, and if there's an extraction tool? http://puu.sh/3mopj.png http://puu.sh/3mopS.png These do not open with any brres tools. RE: Tamagotchi Wii FBC format - Friedslick6 - 06-23-2013 Have you tried running the archives through ntcompress to decompress it? It's found within the Revolution SDK. RE: Tamagotchi Wii FBC format - Random Talking Bush - 06-23-2013 When everything else fails, do a memory dump. I'd recommend Process Explorer, you can dump memory through it easily. Then you do the boring stuff -- searching through said dump for the "BRES" entries. RE: Tamagotchi Wii FBC format - auxfox - 06-23-2013 Okay well I managed to dump the process and rip the BRRES files BUT the model I am trying to rip is not showing up correctly and I can only get the skeleton, textures, and animations - no actual geometry. Also, most of the other models in the game are like this as well. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/66564653/kuchi.brres Edit: I can view the model in brawlbox, but I can't get the skeleton, and the export options aren't exactly great. RE: Tamagotchi Wii FBC format - Random Talking Bush - 06-23-2013 Ah, it's one of those "Version 8" models which are kinda strangely set up. Regardless, here's a quick DAE to FBX conversion from BrawlBox. http://www.mediafire.com/?053so2lb2819m3i RE: Tamagotchi Wii FBC format - auxfox - 06-23-2013 I have an issue though. I had already converted him to FBX previously, however the skeleton was not rigged to the model (this is one of the major reasons I want to rip him like this, otherwise I could just rig him myself and it would be crappy). I do not have 3DS max (I am downloading it now to see if it will work) (also I just changed my name and avatar) Turns out, 3DS Max did work successfully. This is gonna be tedious to get every single model. RE: Tamagotchi Wii FBC format - Garamonde - 06-23-2013 maybe you should test out a couple more models and start up a ripping project detailing how to rip them? RE: Tamagotchi Wii FBC format - auxfox - 06-24-2013 Yeah, I actually considered a "Version 8" Model Ripping tutorial. It's really complicated so a tutorial would probably help. I know there's a bomberman game for wii that someone had my exact problem with that apparently uses the same kinds of models, so I'm sure there's more games too. I will write it up today after classes RE: Tamagotchi Wii FBC format - auxfox - 06-24-2013 (06-23-2013, 03:42 PM)Random Talking Bush Wrote: DAE to FBX conversion What did you use to convert it to FBX? All my export options in brawlbox are PMD and DAE. Simple as that.(06-23-2013, 03:42 PM)Random Talking Bush Wrote: DAE to FBX conversion |
