A bit of help with Blender and Sonic Colors enemy eye textures? - MaverickDVNT - 07-03-2013 Um basically, I'm trying to render a Buzz Bomber from Sonic Colors but I have no idea how to make the eye texture go transparent so only the blue light shows up or something like that.... ![]() Can someone tell me what this would be called and how I would do this properly? RE: A bit of help with Blender and Sonic Colors enemy eye textures? - Random Talking Bush - 07-03-2013 Those are set up by what's known as "additive" transparency, which is basically using the texture's luminosity as a transparency. RE: A bit of help with Blender and Sonic Colors enemy eye textures? - MaverickDVNT - 07-04-2013 I see....would you happen to know how to set this up in Blender? I've tried looking it up on the internet but nothing has seemed to work :/ RE: A bit of help with Blender and Sonic Colors enemy eye textures? - Peardian - 07-04-2013 Either you didn't look very hard, or this is the wrong Blender, but I found this: Additive alpha in Blender (top google search result for "blender additive") Hope this helps. |
