What to use? - Vaporeonlovescake - 07-18-2013 I'm currently developing a game, but I don't know what program to develop it with! I've tried multiple gamemakers (like RPGmakerXP and others), but none seemed to work out. Could anyone here tell me a good program to use? I would appreciate it. ~Vaporeon RE: What to use? - puggsoy - 07-19-2013 This is an extremely open and opinion-based subject. Most likely, there are at least 50 different ways to make your game, not one being greatly superior to the rest. To get a straight answer (or at least a small list of suggestions), you need to give more info on what you are trying to achieve. Here's some things I'd like to ask:
By the way, what do you mean that the programs you've tried "didn't seem to work out"? Making a game is no piece of cake, especially if you're doing most/all of it, and there's no program that will do it for you. You'll have to invest a lot of time, effort, and patience. If the programs looked too complicated or didn't do what you wanted right away, chances are you didn't take the time to learn about them. |
