Silent Authentic Playthroughs - Theforeshadower - 10-10-2013 Just fancy talk meaning I don't speak during the playthrough and I play the traditional way of a console, not an emulator. List: Legend of Zelda : Link's Awakening - 3 dungeons left to complete Mega Man II(Rockman World II) GB - Complete! Some games you can expect in the future: Legend of Zelda : Link to the Past Legend of Zelda Zelda II : Adventure of Link Legend of Zelda : Ocarina of Time Resident Evil 2 both for N64 and PS1 Sonic 1 and 2 Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 Final Fantasy Legend III 007 : Goldeneye Perfect Dark 64 Smart Ball ...and much more, I have roughly some 60 or so games spanning NES, SNES(and SFC), GB, N64, PS1, and PS2. If I had some money, I'd try to egt my hands on a Gamecube or super cheap Wii. Kinda broke at the moment. xD If I can get a decent camera I might try recording Virtual Boy games as well. Anyway, hope you enjoy! If the quality of the video sucks, blame Youtube. I have the original recordings and they are near flawless(compressed into mp4) but Youtube seems to add artifacts everywhere. RE: Silent Authentic Playthroughs - Helmo - 10-10-2013 loud buzzing sound RE: Silent Authentic Playthroughs - Theforeshadower - 10-10-2013 (10-10-2013, 07:03 PM)Pugnificent Wrote: loud buzzing sound Would like to know what you are talking about. I don't hear anything like that even with my volume cranked as loud as it'll go on my laptop. Just watched my Megaman II one again and I hear no such buzzing. Get better headphones? or don't have them jacked up full blast? Maybe it's youtube? I don't get that buzzing at all though. o.o RE: Silent Authentic Playthroughs - Kriven - 10-10-2013 Nope, I hear it too. It sounds like it's probably the television. Was played on a 19" flatscreen LCD monitor. I still don't hear this buzzing noise. How loud do you guys have the volume cranked? Mine is full blast and I don't hear the buzzing. Last I had an ear check, my hearing was still fine. It could be a Youtube thing, let me check the Youtube again. I was watching my raw footage and didn't hear it. It must be Youtube. Ah , now I hear it. I had to plug in Turtle Beaches and crank the volume full blast. It's also only in mono...wtf. Oh well, I 'll leave them be for now until I get a chance to full them through Audacity to lower the buzz and clear up the mono output. RE: Silent Authentic Playthroughs - Phantom Killah - 10-11-2013 hmmm... I'm not hearing this buzzing sound at all. Although I generally don't listen to things in mono so maybe that's why RE: Silent Authentic Playthroughs - PatientZero - 10-11-2013 For the record, I'm using high-end audio equipment and monitor headphones at a comfortable listening volume, and there's definitely an obvious loud buzzing sound. I can even tell you what that sound is, it's line-noise, something physical with how you're recording the audio is messed up. My guess would be that you're not using line-level audio, so you've got an amplified source going to an amplified input, the most common time this happens is when you've got a headphone out going to a mic in. (note that they don't have to be labeled as that, if you can adjust the volume on either end then it's not line level) There are other things it could be, you might be accidentally recording an unplugged input too, or it could be a ground-loop, but that's the most common problem. |
